Lee Cropper AKA The Mofo
I wish I could tell you how I found photography at an early age. I wish I did as well. But I didn't. I found it June 2005 whilst in New York taking photos of the city and the people. I got my first SLR in March 2006 and now my work is an open display of discovering my world.
Most of my work is quite personal to me. It helps me remember events that happen, the ones I sometimes forget. My memory is terrible.
People intrigue me; I am the guy staring at you when you are not looking. Photography lets me explore people more in an intimate way. People have this certain trust in you, and then you can push your luck which I enjoy. Getting away with it is even more enjoyable.

Q & A
What's...
...so special about you, then?
I make mistakes and I don't like to censor.
Sex and spending money. And wine. And food... and...
...better, analog or digital?
Both are good in their own ways.
...your favourite piece of clothing?
My favourite shoes are falling apart, but I love them too much to throw away.
Coming to me possibly. I can dream...
...the name of your hero?
...so special about your hero?
They are just great in my eyes.
...your worst fashion secret?
Someone said once 'Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.' – I'll go with that.
...next year going to bring?
No more red letters asking for money!
How would you describe your work?
Thought provoking, intimate, candid and sexy images. Sometimes you might blush inside or outside.
