Michael Stipe

As the lead singer of R.E.M., Michael Stipe has been at the forefront of alternative rock for 24 years, selling over 45 million records in the process. As well as his role as a movie producer, in 2006, Stipe released a six-track EP comprising six different cover versions of Joseph Arthur’s In The Sun for the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief fund.
