The members of The Beatles all had singles out in 1971, 3 of which were no 1 in the UK charts. i choose members of The Beatles as they're probably the most british band of all time, like Reiss who started in London. Everyone knows what the beatles look like at their height of fame, but not circa 1971 (when they disbanded).
