But it's not for want of trying. Stamen creates compelling interactive design and data visualisation projects, providing the opportunity for invention and discovery. Either way, the results are as inspiring as they are fascinating: gorgeous information graphics providing live views of social networks as they happen, covering live bicycle races over the internet, describing the lifetime output of an otherwise uncategorisable artist. You have to see it.
