A blog, a community, a creative showcase, an industry network, Current TV is more than your average telly channel. Online and on Sky and Virgin Media, it was launched this year by co-creator Al Gore with the aim of giving its users more influence and involvement in the content they choose to watch. If not revolutionary, it's at least one of the most hyped new online initiatives for 2007, and is about multiple subjective opinions and views as opposed to the reductive solo eye of Big Brother. |
