For Cameron Alexander, Instagram - like photography in general - is a daily affair. While the young London-based photographer’s work for Dazed, Hero and Vice veer towards the gritty and realistic, his Instagram is littered with light-hearted flitting moments. “I use Instagram every day. I am constantly visually aware and alert. I tend to see things now and if I don't have my camera on me (a rare occasion) then I shoot it on my phone. It's because I want to just share what I have seen."

"Much like my work. Instagram is a platform to share, and to be inspired. Inspired to look more. Also, I find it kind of nice to think so many people are walking round with a body of great images tucked away in their pocket, a very miniature, electronic portfolio, filled with intimate, personal and real, images of everyday life. It's inspiring to think people like my brothers or my uncle, who don't know a great deal about photography or art, take an image and have the urge to share it with people. I love that.”
