Bringing post-shoegaze back, The Sleeping Bags based in Long Beach, California have been influenced equally by the likes of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive as well as 'proto German avant-rock projects' like Harmonia, Neu! and Ash Ra Tempel. Structurally unsound, the musical complexity of their songs are complimented in a fast and furious manner, whereby The Sleeping Bags' catalogue was recorded live only over a two day period back in the summer of '09.
