Q & AWHAT’S… …so special about you, then?I’m not sure. I’m just a regular person, not so special… however, I hope that the sounds I make show some of the crazy thoughts I have sometimes. Those crazy thoughts tend to create melodies that make people want to dance. … your worst vice? I'm always listening to music! …the story behind your name? I was trying to find something arty, but couldn't come up with anything. So this friend of mine said why I don’t play with my last name – Trole. I switched some letters, added the U and Roulet came out. As simple as that… it even sounds a bit French. …your worst fashion secret? I wear pyjamas under my jeans... But I only do it in the winter! …your favourite website? MySpace, for sure! That’s where I can satisfy my music addiction. Whenever I want to hear other artists' news, I think this is still the place to come. …do you eat for breakfast? I drink chocolate milk alongside bread and butter. Sometimes I also have Trotters. The best cereal in the world! …at the top of your shit list? Bad politics! …are you listening to now?Stimming: great minimal techno/houseCongorock: crazy crazy houseJean Elan: spectacular house/clubZeds Dead: progressive dubstep, crazy tooHow would you describe your work?Influenced by the music I hear and by stuff I see and hear in my daily routine. The music I produce has a lot to do with my humour. Sometimes it comes out aggressive (stress made music). Sometimes it comes out happier and makes people jump and have a good time. I produce in several styles, like Kuduro, House, Techno, Dubstep and some crazy stuff, kind of calm Hip Hop… I tend to work the more 'nervous' styles when I’m feeling really electric, so they reflect that state of mind. The slower tracks are made to chill… So far I’ve learned a lot regarding electronic music and I hope to learn more. A lot more! Escape the algorithm!
