Robyn wants you to be in her next music video

Get dancing, but not on your own

Robyn is on the lookout for dancers in her latest music video, and you and your S/O could be in it.

The “Dancing on my Own” singer posted her callout on Instagram for an upcoming video shoot in London this September 18. “We are looking for a diverse cast of interesting and expressive people,” she wrote. “People who love music and love to dance in their own way.”

Robyn requires “modern, diverse, interesting and liberated couples and relationships”. She specified a range of “heterosexual, LGBTQ+, gender non-conforming (and) polyamorous” people. She asserted that they would be making the shoot as diverse as possible.

So how can you get in on the video of an artist that has soundtracked your love, lust, and powerful breakups? Send a video to robyn@academyfilms.com introducing yourself with your name and age, a wide shot of your full body, and a clip of yourself dancing freestyle to “XTC” by DJ Koze and “Cherry” by Tim Green.

Robyn recently released the very excellent “Missing U” from her upcoming follow-up to Body Talk, which is touted to be dropped later this year. The Swedish singer also released Missing U – A Message To My Fansa mini-documentary that focused on This Party is Killing You, a clubnight dedicated exclusively to the pop star’s music. In the film, the party’s organisers try to bring Robyn to the club by sending her voicemails from fans of how much her music means to them.

So go on – call your girlfriend, boyfriend, mate, significant other, partner for life and hit Robyn up!
