Azealia Banks to Elon Musk: ‘I feel terrible about everything’

The singer penned an apology for her actions over the last couple of weeks – then deleted it

Azealia Banks has had some time to reflect on her latest beef and has decided to apologise to Elon Musk.

Having told the world that she spent days in Elon Musk’s house and months texting his girlfriend Grimes about his drug habits and penis size, she feels she may have crossed a boundary. “I feel terrible about everything,” she wrote on a now-deleted Instagram post. “I guess I could start off by apologising for all of the painful events you’ve endured over the past week as I feel as though my actions have largely exacerbated them.”

The singer added that she came to stay “without a single intention other than finishing a series of tracks with (Grimes)”. Musk had recently tweeted Tesla will start selling “short shorts” as merch, as well as thigh-high sockboots and thigh high socks with pockets for lipliner and cards. He also made a recent claim that he has “funding secured” to take Tesla private at $420 a share. After these bizarre public announcements, Azealia said he had been tweeting on acid. The combination of all of the above led Tesla’s stock to tumble.

As well as this damningly uncool information about Elon’s partying, more texts that appear to be from Grimes show her asking Azealia to get pregnant at the same time as her, to which Azealia replies: “sober up then get pregnant”. And, one where Grimes alleges that he has “a giant dick”.

Azealia continued: “I was welcomed to a lot of personal information about you. The stuff made me feel awkward and uncomfortable about being privy to, yet I never had any intentions of ever using the information against you. What started off as a cat-fight lead to some seriously unexpected consequences and I sincerely apologize.”

Her letter also veered into her multi-dimensional desires as she hopes that there is “another plane” where their first interactions had happened harmoniously.

“I’ve been told you are a fan of my music,” she wrote. “If you are up for it, I’d like to meet you in person to properly and formally introduce myself to you. After all, we are now the co-stars of pop culture’s latest fan-fictions,” she concluded with a wink emoji.

Well now that wild ride is over I want the next Azealia Banks headline to be that she has released Fantasea II: The Second Wave.
