Teyana Taylor quits Jeremih tour, accusing him of ‘mistreatment’

The G.O.O.D. Music star says she had to leave before she ended up ‘knocking this n***a out’

Teyana Taylor has been touring North America with R&B star Jeremih since the start of August, but the artist has now announced that she will not be participating in the remaining dates – apparently due to Jeremih’s behaviour, as Billboard report.

“I’ve been extremely mistreated on this tour so on that note I will NO longer continue to stay on the #LaterThatNightTour because if I do ima end up knocking this n***a out,” Taylor wrote on Twitter. “I’m sorry to all who has already purchased tickets to see me I will make sure everyone gets refunded.”

In a series of tweets, she voiced her frustrations with Jeremih, claiming that he has acted like a “diva” and that he thinks he’s like Michael Jackson. “Lazy, sneaky, jealous, conniving, sel(f)ish, lame ass n***a!” she wrote. “Don’t ever try to play me Petunia.”

“They come to see me then 80 (per cent) of the room leave after MY SET! work my ass off every city, every night! You’ve done nothing this whole tour but act like a DIVA in ya princess chair”, she added. “He really do think he is Mike Jack.”

She also said that she plans to play more solo shows.

Jeremih has form when it comes to this. Back in 2016, he was touring with Canadian artist PARTYNEXTDOOR, and ended up dissing him on-stage during a performance: “PARTYNEXTDOOR and his crew are some bitch ass n*****s, now tell me that,” he said. Jeremih was eventually dropped from the tour.

For all her talents, there’s no denying that Teyana Taylor has been getting a raw deal this year. When she released her new album K.T.S.E. earlier this year, it was overshadowed by the behaviour of its producer, Kanye West. West also changed the album up until the last minute, delaying its release.

Taylor also said in an interview that she didn’t initially know the album would be part of West’s series of Wyoming releases, and that it would not have any singles or music videos as part of its release. Some fans criticised West, feeling that he did not consider Teyana Taylor, G.O.O.D. Music’s only female artist, a priority.
