All of the girls are dance floor queens until she puts her Blahniks on it
Azealia Banks has released a new live-action follow up for “Anna Wintour” following on from the initial animated video.
While the track is an homage to the strength of the Vogue editor, the video is Wintour’s bob-meets-Janet Jackson’s “Pleasure Principle”. In a tweet Banks explained that Jackson was “inspiring”.
“Big Shout Out to @JanetJackson for inspiring a legion of art school girls to foliow in her footsteps. Anna Wintour is an HOMAGE to the queen of black girl cool,” she wrote.
The song produced by Junior Sanchez is the first off her long anticipated album Fantasea II – there is not yet any concrete release date for the record. She previously claimed the song would become the “gay wedding anthem of summer 2018” and with 4 minutes of great dancing there’s now a routine to go with it.
It’s not just the moves that are getting attention though, her nipples are getting a shout out too. One fan labelled them “distracting” and asked if they were actually frozen Hershey’s Kisses, to which our problematic fave replied: “LOL, they are actually my nipples dear.”
