Can you recommend... ... three new bands?(Laughs) It would have been more easy for me to recommend three artists, but we are gonna play it your way.1. The Pack. The San Francisco based rap band, for me the most creative guys right now.2. The Brick Bandits. The crew of producers from Philly, dance, dance, dance.3. High Power Boys. My man Bobmo and Surkin from Paris. Great music and a great name. ....three old bands?1. Drexciya. For those who don’t know, the best techno band from the 90’s.2. Whodini. Old school masterminds!3. Laibach. The Sloven industrial band and if you can;t stand it you can still listen to Laidback, the Danish band from the 80’s so famous for their wonderful track, “The White Horse”.... a record label?Numbers! The brand new name for the combined labels of Glasgow (Wireblock, Dress 2 Sweat etc)... a website?www.maddecent.com. Diplo’s label site is so great!... a film?Thomas Alfredson’s “Let The Right One In”. An amazing Swedish vampire movie. ... a book?“Europeana” by Patrick Ourednik. A funny and fascinating Czech book. ... something on YouTube? The amazing Detroit dance show with the best music and styles.... a radio show?Le Novamix. But don’t look for it, it’s a 90’s show on what used to be the best French radio. Very important when I was a kid. ... something to do on a day off?You can go to the Picasso Museum and steal a priceless sketch book. Somebody did that two weeks ago in ten minutes. The Police still got no clue...... a song everyone should hear?Dee Lite “What is Love” form 1989, never gets old.
