A one-off breaks mini-festival in aid of promotor Paul "Trouble" Arnold.
The cream of the UK dance community - and some breaks DJs (arf) - are coming together on April 9 for a one-off spectacular at London club The End. The night has been pulled together by friends of Paul "Trouble" Arnold, DJ and promoter extraordinaire, founder of the notorious and long-running Chew The Fat! night, general all-round cheeky chappy, and friend of Dazed. Paul was diagnosed with leukaemia at the end of last year, and a charity has now been set up in his name, with money raised on the night going towards helping him in his fight against cancer.
The night will feature an impressive array of DJs coming down to support the night and cause, with exclusive head-to-head sets from the likes of Tayo, Krafty Kuts, Sinden, Kissy Sell Out, Plump DJs, Rennie Pilgrem, Layo & Bushwacka, James Zabiela, Rob da Bank, Dub Pistols, Will Saul, Yousef, Stanton Warriors, and more, plus a one-off performance by The Cuban Brothers.
As the organisers put it, it's like a festival... but in a club. So, sack Thursday off, get yourself down to this truly obese evening, and have yourself a fat old night out safe in the knowledge that it's for a very good cause. What's not to like?
A massive "get well soon" goes out to Paul from all at Dazed HQ.
