Crisis are hosting nine ‘find the music, expose the truth’ secret gigs during May and June set to entertain are top musicians Hot Chip – performing only a handful of UK dates this year - with an exclusive set on Tuesday 5th May.  Britpop boys Dodgy and The Bluetones are on the same line-up for Sunday 17th May.  Dates for Filthy Dukes, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Pipettes and other appealing artists will be announced in due course.

The venue for each gig will remain a mystery until the day of the show; ticket holders will then be notified by text or email.  The idea is that the unexpected revelation will in some way highlight the problems faced when people exist on the streets and are forced to sleep in perilous places.

Either way, this is a fantastic opportunity to see some talented and varied performances in what I imagine to be, rather exciting and unique spaces, whilst simultaneously helping an extremely worthwhile cause.  Leslie Morphy from crisis had this to say, “Our fear is that as the recession takes its toll, putting more at risk of homelessness, the situation is going to get much worse.  Crisis Hidden gigs aims to raise awareness of this growing issue and raise vital funds”.
