Shot against the stunning backdrop of Casablanca, Morocco, the mysterious songstress YADi's new video, directed by Institute For Eyes with help from a local crew and friends, captures her intoxicating new song, 'The Blow'. The British-born singer's unique sounds are an amalgamation of her Algerian, Italian and Norwegian heritage, and reveals her fascination with North African music and aesthetics. Despite having been influenced by the likes of Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald, YADi's inimitable vocal style has proved to be equally fitting over experimental electronica, working with high profile producers Johan Hugo (Santigold, M.I.A.), Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Major Lazer) and Hotflush label head Scuba.

YADi's first full single ‘The Blow’ is out February 18th. She will be performing a special introductory show at The Social, London on February 19th. Check her Twitter here for updates.
