The Portuguese-born musician, IVVVO, is as mysterious as the beats he produces. Classically trained on the piano, he creates dark and murky tracks with dark synths with remixes from the likes of Trikk and Portuguese artist Pearl. His debut LP, ‘Occult’ forms around the disturbed and warped sounds which he is best known for - fusing minimalism, heavy industrial sounds and a resonant optimism. With uplifting notes rising out of mechanical beats, IVVVO creates a sound which is at once full of despair and hope - an organic soundtrack to city life.
