Growing up in southern California with a mum heavily into her Motown, Brian Gibbs aka Echo Park's early love for Italo disco, P Funk to Hip Hop has made it into his own sound, as heard on the 'West Coast beat scene'. After moving from L.A. to Tokyo, his projects have been diverse and exciting, taking in everything from Afro-Cuban to Latin influences, whilst his last single 'Fiber Optic' ended up on Skream's Disfigured Dubz imprint.
