The French label on their transition to the US, forthcoming mix compilation and a mix from rising duo Jupiter
To celebrate the release of their new Soleil Mix comp, cult French label Kitsuné are hosting a summer party on 23rd June at XOYO. The mixed album, conceived by Kitsuné's boss Gildas Loaec and long-time collaborator Jerry Bouthier, is a musical invitation to relax with a cocktail in the summer sun, featuring the eclectic likes of Citizens!, Metronomy, Charlotte Gainsbourg, M83, Tensnake and Trentemoller. The electro-funk and disco line-up at the XOYO event, headlined by Housse de Racket, will also feature a live performance by Jupiter, who - having remixed the likes of Metronomy and Two Door Cinema Club - have now made Dazed Digital a minimix. The Kitsune boss here gives us his recommendations for both his hometown of Paris and the new shores of NYC, which they approach this year...
