Fraser Moss, one half of the clothing label YMC has decided to haul out his collection of original 45 records and share them via YMC's podcast called "Radio Buzzy!". The four part podcast will plunge people into an alternative musical universe that where 50s' and early 60s' American musical genres are explored. No Beatles or Elvis to be found here as YMC delve into music niches little known to the masses and focus on the times when American music ruled the airwaves, fuelled by the teenage scenes that were burgeoning rapidly at the time. The shows are loosely themed animal, beatnik, Far East, space and Western, with the first show available for download focusing on jungle and hot rod. Interntional travel gave way to exotica music from the likes of Baby Sticks and the Kingtones and Micket Lee Lane. Teenage tearaways latched onto hot rod vehicles and spawned music from The Corvettes and The Kinfolks.
