East London recording studios and bar, Strongroom, is launching 'Strongroom Alive', a new radio station broadcasting live from the heart of Shoreditch. Inviting down the local area's creatives and collectives in the fields of music, art and fashion, they'll be hosting shows  from the likes of Dazed & Confused, Moshi Moshi, 1234 Festival, Ninja Tune, Wang and Pure Evil Gallery. Having been based in the cultural hub for more than 25 years, Strongroom will be featuring a mix of music shows, band/DJ interviews and mixes and competitions from the local galleries, boutiques and party promoters.

Strongroom Alive will launch in February 2012 and be available for 28 days on FM and on Freeview, and for a longer basis through the Internet and mobile apps. Each day of the week will feature a flagship show broadcast between 7pm and 9pm. The first Dazed show goes out between 7-9pm on Feb 15th and features an exclusive interview and record selections from Childish Gambino.
