As anyone who has seen their appearances at the Young Turks CrimeRave nights at 333 will attest, Adventure Playground are a bag of grimey weirdness. Comprising of producer Jew D’Orange, folk guitarist Townmousecountrymouse and Betjeman influenced MC, Mo Juiced, the self-deprecating trio are gunning for Wiley from the safety of their new Old Street penthouse.

"At the moment we’re doing a mixtape of new stuff and collaborations," 19-year-old Jew D’Orange informs Dazed Digital. "On Friday we’re doing a track with Dev who used to be in Test Icicles, he’s got this new alter ego called Nigga Bullshit. His stuff is out there, he doesn’t care. He’s doing stuff with Jitset under the name of Acid Sluts. Jack Penate is also going to be coming on a track."

"When Lethal Bizzle did his Grindie mixtape he spread himself too thin so that the grime bits were shit and so were the indie bits," 21-year-old Moe Juiced continues. "So instead of the best of both worlds it’s the worst. Even if our mixtape is only 30 seconds long but it’s the best 30 seconds of all time that would be better than having six grindie albums of wack. That’s genuinely the way I feel about it.

"We’re going to call it the Voyage of the Dawntreader – it’s named after the Narnia book," says Jew D’Orange in an educated West London brogue. "It’s going to be a voyage from the sublime to the ridiculous. We’re getting that out in October. It’s an autumn/winter collection. I’ve just done a badass remix of "Milk" by the Kings of Leon. I entered the Spank Rock accapella competition with a beat based on the Indiana Jones theme tune mixed with "Coke and Wet". We’re going to try and be everything and we probably won’t be everything but we’re going to be something." Whatever you say lads, whatever you say.
