We speak to Afrikan Boy ahead of Thursday about his future adventures and getting all the other pods jealous. Dazed Digital: Have you been down to the London Eye before?Afrikan Boy: I've always wanted to go around the LE but never really managed to find time to do it, so my first experience will be my performance on it which is 100 times better.DD: What's the weirdest place you've ever performed so far?Afrikan Boy: I wouldn't say 'weirdest' but it was East Africa (Malawi for the Lake of Stars Festival), the London Eye performance is definitely going to top the listDD: If you could name the 'night/event' in your pod/capsule, what would you call it?Afrikan Boy: "The Lagos Eye".DD: What are you expecting from the night?Afrikan Boy: I'm expecting 14 people in my pod, who are up for a party. I want people in other pods to be looking at what's going on in my pod, that's how wild I'm going to make it. DD: What else are you working on at the moment?Afrikan Boy: Have an EP called "The ABCD" which is ready for release and from that the first single titled Kunta Kinte will drop. I also just dropped a mixtape a month ago "What took you so long?" download at www.afrikanboy.com - now I'm focusing on my album material and il be dropping another mixtape by Christmas! ‘Revolutions in Sound’: Thursday 13th October 2011.
