Aster come from Barcelona, consisting of Pettre and Juan Miguel II. Their music is a personal cosmic blend of analog synthesizer sounds, unorthodox samples and raw rhythms. In addition, they run the Gran Mostacho blog, covering a wide spectrum (Chicago house, disco edits, dubstep, kraut, weird pop and throw parties at Be Cool in Barcelona. The most recent event was a joint affair with John Talabot's label Hivern Discs, through which the duo have released two tracks to date - 'Neon' on the recent 'Hivern a L'Estiu Vol 2' compilation, and a split 7" with John himself including the track "Tormenta Del Desierto".
