NEW TRAINER LABEL PLSTK

Posted on: 25th January 2008 | Posted by: Robbie Spencer

Best known for their work on mobile phones, Californian based designers Mark Gamab and Neil Cueto founded their trainer label PLSTK in 2006, hoping to bridge the gap between runway fashion and street style. The shoes use retro color combinations, geometric patterns and an eclectic selection of materials like tweed and crocodile-embossed leather. Drawing from classic footwear design, the PLSTK collection consists of a low-top sneaker, a trainer-style shoe, a mid-top version and classic slip-on. Each fresh design is named after a day of the week, including the top-seller Monday, a low profile lace-up shoe. "What started out as simple running shoes has now turned into a whole line with a cohesive style," say the designers.
