- Text by Rod Stanley

Dazed travels to the furthest reaches of Earth to talk all-girl brass bands and kaleidoscopic explosions of colour with the two agent provocateurs behind one of 2007's most far-out collaborations.

Self-professed Satanist Kenneth Anger talks movies, magick and madness, as Dazed charts a chequered celluloid history that features cameos from the likes of Marianne Faithfull, Mick Jagger and Jimmy Page.

New York artist Rita Ackermann talks to Dazed about remaining a true original, and being an inspiration to countless young creatives, on the eve of her first British solo exhibition.

We head downtown to bring you the inside track on dance-rock quintet Foals, who spent the summer in New York recording their hotly anticipated debut album with legendary Brooklyn producer Dave Sitek.
