Lutz Hüeller is know for complicated cuts but for spring summer, he took it down a notch and instead took minimalist shapes and used his tried and tested tools of folding, draping and pleating. Lauren Hutton, one half of the name of this show most probably inspried the simplicity. Then you get an unusual chiffon knit that manages to make a very light fabric chunky looking thrown in and suddenly the collection starts to take unexpected turns with black pvc jackets, gigantic macrame pieces that look like they want to be both tops and oversized necklaces. That might be down to the other half of this collection's name which was Debbie Harry. Debbie Harry and Lauren Hutton's paths may have only briefly crossed in reality but for Lutz, they're BFF in his collection of surprises and twists.
