Sharon Wauchob Womenswear A/W10

Published 18 months ago

Clean-cut with a rebel aesthetic.

Paris-based, Irish designer, Sharon Wauchob stripped back this season’s collection and turned out silhouettes that were clean and minimal but still with her rock-chic edge. Black, slashed, asymmetricallydraped leather dresses with hand cut fringes and a gold bead and leather mesh tunic were key items in the collection. A jewel-tone dip-dyed, spliced chiffon number kept the run of black interesting, and a capped sleeve, burnt bronze, funnel-necked jacket and wool, fur or croc-stamped coats provided outerwear. Newly appointed Creative Director for Edun, Wauchob will continue to work on her personal designs till her debut collection in Spring 2011 for Edun.
