Risto Bimbiloski pushes artisinal hand knitting.

Shaggy textures are abound in the shows so far and it seems a lot of designers are feeling the more tactile quality in clothes. Risto Bimbiloski ensured that his knits had provenance by using artisinal hand knitters. These knitted and quilted pieces were the folk-inspired elements that went over the slightly faded, nature-derived prints underneath. The prints were inspired by Nicola Sassoon and painted in slightly naïve computer pixels. This is Risto's "New New Age" where sartorial spiritual healing is abound and the natural and synthetic come together.
