Jersey pants and buttoned up corduroy tops added a softer side to almost workwear ensembles, offering a comfortable side to more industrial looking pieces. An onslaught of spectacles added 'geek chic' appeal, or more 'grandpa chic' along with the flatcaps and high-waisted patterned trousers smartened up with wool blazers and leather gloves.
