New York fashion week started off with a very smiley Lacoste on Saturday morning where my favourites were the monochromatic mod looks for boys and 50s esque bobble-heel socks for girls. Obedient Sons had a similarly fresh approach to S/S09 with soft pastel mints and icey blues. Menswear and womenswear crossed paths and merged into one and cute summer hats gave a pretty detail for both boys and girls. Another highlight was of course the AnOther mag dinner and party in the evening. Despite the rainstorms from hurricane Agatha’s wake we got ourselves to Brooklyn for the fantastic event where the Stephen Petronio Dance Company performed in artist, Dustin Yellin’s vast studio. Mark Ronson was at the party celebrating his party with a very special cake and when the party finished we moved on to Beatrice Inn to dance among the likes of Lindsay Lohan.
