Models with braided hair wore white and silver for a futuristic feel against pops of graphic reds and blues

Monday lunch time and Ohne Titel brought a futuristic space collection to the Milk Studios in New York. Featuring off white and grey nuances, it added silver details and utility pockets on some of the trousers. The tailored jackets all had zips and looked like they could be deconstructed at the discretion of their future owners. Knitwear was rife and it came as flowing dresses or as cropped tops on top of silk pleat dresses. A few of the braided models sported bright red outfits as a contrast colour, but it was the off white and silver combos that impressed the most. The fluid feeling of the collection was hammered home by a couple of comfortably loose fur parkas, perfect for that cold lunar weather...

Dazed Digital: Talk me through the general idea behind the collection...
Ohne Titlel:
The inspiration for the show was actually what astronauts wore during the Apollo mission in space. So it's space suit influenced and you can see that in some of the round volumes and the convoluted textures on the shoulders and some of the knits

DD: Yeah, there was a futuristic feeling to the whole show...
Ohne Titel:
Yes, definitely a sense of futurism - we played a lot with volume and as we wanted this round, almost circular, shape. There was also lightness in there, like with the organza shirt sleeves that created a sense of weightlessness.

DD: What sort of fabrics did you use?
Ohne Titel:
We did an amazing metallized wool and metal printing on silk and really interesting loopy textured sweaters that almost created a lunar knitwear...

DD: Favourite piece in the show?
Ohne Titel:
The heavy gage knit jacket, it has old fashioned details but it also brings out the futuristic elements of the show...
