The design is the tenth so far in the series, which uses the traditional Chinese symbols to channel all the emotions and meaning associated with each animal. The shoe is based on the Air force 1 Low Supreme trainer, which was first designed in 1982 and has remained an iconic and popular design ever since. The Rabbit motif is printed on the back of the shoe, while the Chinese symbol for the Rabbit (tu) is stitched to the front tongue and the year 2011 is debossed on the tag – all in red, which the Chinese believe brings good luck.
