Taking inspiration from the architect Philip Jonson’s Glass House, Tod’s A/W11 collection was made up of timelessly stylish yet functional leather goods. Just as Jonson’s design masterpiece showed how innovation and passion can successfully combine function and elegance, Tod’s A/W11 collection used rubber and prime leather to create comfortable and aesthetically pleasing designs. The Winter Gommino received prime position in the ICONS collection as a heritage product for the brand. Combining a light and flexible rubber sole with precious leather, the shoe, which was first introduced in the 80s as a sportswear style, is becoming more popular.  Colours for the season are natural shades of sand, stone, chocolate and honey in luxury leathers in variations of brushed suede, vintage calfskin and precious pony skin.
