Layers of ruffles, animal prints and lace embroidery injected glamour to the Italian's bold and extravagant collection

The Italian couturier used an array of prints from grown-up monochrome checks on loosely cropped tees and trouser suits to a sparse leopard print on his shift dresses, modernised with bold white stripes or block colours. Elsewhere in the wholly feminine collection, white chiffon panelling on floaty blouses and loose pencil skirts were adorned in lace and embroidered with silver thread, whilst v-neck cocktail dresses featured extravagant gold brocade detailing. Shiny silver cuffs toughened up the pieces whilst cascading ruffles on lime green or fluffy white chiffon dresses were the highlight of the show.
