Delicate rose prints were emblazoned on pinafore dresses, jumpsuits and off-the-shoulder tops, with printed headcarves and large canvas totes topping off the silhouette. The feminine look was later shaken up by techno accents such as PVC bloomers or a windbreaker with a rose pattern. However, it was a series of floaty chiffon dresses with floral prints at the show’s finale, which reaffirmed that it’s romance – not eccentricity – that’s really exciting D & G this summer.
