To celebrate the launch there was a cocktail party at the Gucci Icon Temporary Store on Earlham Street. Afterwards, guests headed to an afterparty hosted by Jefferson Hack & Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini at Ronnie Scotts in Soho. Unfettered by volcanic ash and flight disruptions, guests including Rankin, Jay Joplin, Yasmin Le Bon, Bonnie Wright, MIA, Bryan Ferry, and Olivier Zahm enjoyed the Ronnie Scotts takeover with a mix of performers and DJs on both floors of the venue. Upstairs Patrick Wolf played a low key acoustic set on piano and ukulele with his sister joining in for the last two songs, Matthew Stone and Phantasy Nights then DJ'ed for the rest of the evening.Downstairs, The Horrors’s ‘Coffin Joe’ started things off with a DJ set, followed by performances from Friendly Fires and from Mark Ronson’s new side project with Sam Sparro and Theophilus London, Chauffeur, with surprise additions of Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes to the line-up!
