London boutique Oki-Ni have announced their search for an in-house model (full and part time) alongside a new, unspecified role within the company. Whether it be buying assistant, photographer, studio assistant, stylist, or editorial coordinator, the only stipulation is that they are London-based and currently unsigned to an agency. See the page on the Oki-Ni site for more information. Other news include the launch of Lou Dalton's collection. The London-based menswear designer's S/S10 collection took inspiration from 18th Century French seas. Lighter and more embellished than her previous collection, a strong red and blue palette runs throughout, with rugged textures and loose knits contrast with soft fabrics and smooth tees for a versatile look that embodies rugged seafaring with a polished, tailored finish. Also the Australian brand Bassike will now be stocked. Bassike has developed a more relaxed tailoring with the introduction of cotton shirting and tailored pants. The collections are very classic, simple and stylish. Great denim and soft tailoring comprising of wool, jersey, cotton shirting, denim and leather. Stockists in the UK include Oki-Ni, Net-a-porter and Liberty.
