Christopher Kane - S/S 08

Moving on from his seminal debut three seasons ago Christopher Kane, now on his 4th collection takes on a completely different direction to what has become accustomed from one of London brighest fashion talents.

Spring / Summer 08 sees him ditch the rainbow of stretch fabrics and utility belts and opt for frills, sheer, frou frou and snake print chiffon, taking such an extreme change of direction was bound to shock Kane fans and maybe that is exactly what he wanted to do, to keep them guessing, making people see he has more to offer than you may initially think, at such an early stage in Kane's career, such exploration into different inspirations and ideas really proves just how diverse and how much potential longevity Kane really has.
