A season's absence from showing has done Aquascutum some good and head designer Michael Herz presents a fresh vision for autumn/winter that involves skirts taking to the floor, sweeping along in languid lengths but ultimately made contemporary with jackets that are cinched in at the waist. Colours were largely kept to black and camel with flashes of a dulled brick red or gold shining through in a ruched brocade floor length finale dress. Whilst trenches were present, they weren't the garments that immediately jumped out as particular standouts like a twisted cape that covered the front, revealing the whole of one arm or a quilted waistcoat that was belted belted over a shortened and cropped zipper cagoul jacket.
