It was almost as if Charles Anastase was purposefully creating looks that don't run in cohesion with each other which works in this instance because his imaginary muse/character is an eccentric and what he describes as a "crazy gardener". Jumping from a calf-length clingy turquoise dress and red jacket with frou frou ruffled collar to a kabuki-mask painted face and grey shawl coat was perfectly ok. Colours of deep cranberry, ochre, peach and sky blue were deliberately kept solid to let the longer, slightly granny-ish shapes do the talking. The girly whimsiness of Anastase's previous collections could also be seen in a white ruffled knee length shift with a matching cap.
