Hannah Marshall Womenswear A/W10
It was a slitty season for the little black dress mistress.

Hannah Marshall was another designer of this dark trio (comprising Felder Felder and Jean Pierre Braganza) to stick to her guns, doing what she does best - the black dress. A long black velvet high-necked dress with suggestive splits at the elbows opened the show and what ensued, actually was a broadening of Marshall's repertoire. There were leather trousers with slits at the kneecaps, structured masculine jackets, pieces of textural knitwear, flocked velvet jumpsuits and a finale of black velvet body. Holding everything together were the placements of slits, cut-outs and in the case of one particular statement dress, some sculptural horizontal strips that stood rigid away from the body.
