You expect a flurry of printed frocks at Diane Von Furstenberg with all of her signature traits that have made her a legend. However, when the show notes re-quoted Von Furstenberg saying "I always wanted to live a man's life in a woman's body", the grey tightly fitted trouser suit paired with a fluffy frou frou bolero made a bit more sense.

The introduction of sharper fitted jackets and leather trouser suits made the contrast against her dresses (inevitably there were plenty) all the more prominent. Von Furstenberg also expectedly had a whale of a time playing with an abundance of prints and sumptuous fabrics that made her and Nathan Jenden's last collection together a vibrant one.
