Trust Donna Karan to always inject something breezy and effortless into her younger line. This time it was the blocky lines of Bauhaus and sepia tones of the 60s that were lifted by the sassy schoolgirl conontations where skirts are short and pleated and coat/jackets are slightly oversized, leading to tasselled loafer platforms that give much attitude to that school staple. Then the Bauhaus lines crept in increasingly and patterns of beaded and knitted colour blocking were used in the last portion of dresses.
