In the spirit of LnA’s edgy rock and roll aesthetic, the brand threw an eclectic after party for their fashion week presentation
Unveiled at The Penthouse at Milk Studios, LnA’s Fashion Week presentation and after party last weekend embodied
their rock'n'roll vibes which designers Lauren Ashley and April Leight
have always set out to embody. Set to the music of Dead Man's Bones, LnA put together a gothic rock and roll presentation made up of twelve looks, eight women's and four men's, with hair courtesy of Bumble and Bumble and make-up by MAC Cosmetics. A performance from Metric complimented the stunning environment
before an epic set from the legendary Patti Smith left a lasting
impression on the crowd.
Autumn/Winter 2010 takes LnA to stripes, sweater knits, and leather pieces, where the collection will feature a leather cardigan with sweater knit panels, oversized striped tee’s and dresses, leather motorcycle jackets, distressed fleece slouch pants, and a new collection of fundamentals in LnA's signature cotton. Inspired by front women like Alison Mosshart (The Kills & The Dead Weather), Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) and of course Patti Smith, the Fall collection was paired with accessories from Brooklyn-based jewellery brand Lady Grey and shoes by industry favorite YMC.
