Galliano completely dissected the character of Sherlock Holmes that started off with dark aviator characters which then led into more recognisable Edwardian elements such as the bowler hats, banker suits and slick outerwear. Traditional peach corsets and fanlacers soon took hold. This then developed into a portion which was far more eclectic as Galliano injected his tried and tested Chinoiserie theme with embroidered floral and dragon robes and add-on hair queues.
