Thinking of those lush summer days? Louis Vuitton's 2010 Summer collection will take you there before the end of March. Exclusively manufactured for Louis Vuitton by optical craftsmen from the French region of Morez, the sunglasses feature acetate frames developed by hand to obtain the house colours reminiscent of their famed leather goods lines. Also providing protection against solar UV radiation, they combine technology with quality, where the lenses benefit from special treatments such as photochromy and polarization, whilst the finished hinges have been carefully crafted to form perfect LV initials.

Designed by Marc Jacobs, the sunglasses line takes its inspiration from the house codes: the Monogram Flowers for women, and the Damier Check for men. The new collection takes on a 70s feel with arty technicolour for Parisian and New York trend setters.

Louis Vuitton Sunglasses collection, for both men and women, will be available exclusively from Louis Vuitton stores as of March 2010.
