Having graduated from Central Saint Martin’s in 1990, Christian Blanken went on to consult for Michael Kors, J Crew, Diane Von Furstenberg, and the Harvey Nichols private label womenswear collection, and although he continues to work as a Senior Brand Consultant for MaxMara, he is now re-establishing his own label for Autumn / Winter 2008.

Now in his element designing his own line, Blanken is launching his new web store to stock his Menswear and Womenswear collections featuring strong, defined silhouettes and almost severe lines that evoke a certain utilitarian quality. With a limited yet intense use of colour, Blanken considers his garments as 'modern classics', which are items that men and women can keep in their wardrobe as seasonless and effortlessly elegant pieces that continue to feel new.

The site stocking the collections will also be regularly updated with one-off and unique pieces that will be personally sourced by Christian Blanken.
