I started my career at adidas, went on to design for Levi’s and most recently for Nike designing new footwear for the Umbro brand. DD: What differentiates Mors Footwear from SO MANY sneaker/trainer brands out there?Jonathan Mors: Mors is about high quality sneakers, handmade in Europe from the best leathers available. I’ve designed them to be wearable yet incorporate fresh details and interesting leathers. I’ve avoided the temptation to cut corners by using cheap materials or outsource production to Asia. Mors is a ‘specialist’ in high quality sneakers. DD: What do you want to achieve with Mors?Jonathan Mors: I’d like to achieve a well crafted range of footwear, that’s inspirational and easy to wear. I already have a lot of diverse designs in progress to expand the range.Mors e-store launching soon. Escape the algorithm!
