Seasons don't apply to Sibling's knitwera pieces that combine timeless qualities and tongue-in-cheek references, all expertly knitted with fine gauge precision. Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery has once again opened themselves up for collaboration. The moving Dada-esque collage film they have produced with design company This is Real Art with music provided by Flairs was meant to be a menagerie of animated character that epitomises each piece. McCreery said "It's better that the film is a collage piece because there are so many different things going on in the collection."
There definitely isn't an overall theme running through the collection other than Sibling's level of craftsmanship. The Breton stripe jumper gets an optical skull treatment courtesy of artist Noah Scalin responsible for the Skull-A-Day project. Collaboration with The Smiley Company results in a six-piece collection featuring the iconic yellow character. Other key pieces include a sequinned English cricket sweater, a worn-in denim jacket that is entirely knitted anda new black lace take on the Ratus Ratus sweater.
